I love trying new underwear patterns. They’re a low commitment in terms of time and cost, and turn into my most worn makes. I’ve tried a ton (7 off the top of my head) of underwear patterns over the past couple of years, but I jumped on the chance to test out another one.
My second goal for Me Made May was to get back into bra making. To jumpstart this endeavor, I bought myself a bunch of kits from Tailor Made and the Cloth Habit Harriet Bra. Here is the first of many bras to come.
Confession time. I’ve only ever owned one strapless bra. I’ve had the same single strapless bra for an embarrassingly long time. Even more embarrassingly, I didn’t buy it. I sewed up my first bra just over two years ago. It was a long-line bralette made with the Watson pattern by Cloth Habit. It still gets occasional wear, but after a two-year hiatus, I was ready to jump back in and try again, this time with a “real bra” complete with underwire.
