This is the Carrie Cardigan by Delia Creates, which is part of Indiesew’s fall/winter collection. I’ve followed Delia Creates for a while now, but never made any of her patterns. As it turns out, I am actually good friends with her brother-in-law, which I found out after having followed her blog for a while.

Black and White Jasper Sweater

I made my first version of this pattern about a year ago. For this version, I wanted a more versatile make, so I stuck with the sweater length. I can vouch that this sweater is comfy and cozy. I wrote it all day Friday and am very happy with it. The fit is nice and relaxed, but still fitted enough to give you some shape, thanks to the princess seams.

Black and White Polka Dotted Jenna Cardi

This is my first make for myself in 2016! I’ve made a few cardigans before (see here, here, and here), but this one is a different style. The Jenna Cardi is a nice complement to the Julia Cardigan already in my pattern. My two Julia cardigans are more casual and flowy,  whereas this style is more traditional. I tend to wear the Jenna cardigans with jeans and pants, but I thought this cardigan would be more appropriate for dresses and higher-waisted skirts, which I tend to wear more often. Continue reading
