Happy first day of fall! This dress is my first fall make of the year. I received the pattern (Butterick 6168) for my birthday in August, and was able to make it up in time for the start of fall.

Men’s Sewing Fail: Colette Negroni
StandardMy boyfriend lives in plaid button-down shirts, so, after all of my success making Archers for myself, I decided to make him a button-down. I opted to try Colette’s Negroni pattern. Just to be clear, that’s not my boyfriend in the pictures; it’s my little brother Eric. I’ll explain.
Anise Muslin
StandardGuess what? I made a muslin! For Christmas, my boyfriend gave me Colette’s Anise jacket pattern and a promise to buy the necessary fabric and notions to make it. I wanted to make the most out of my present, so I made a muslin of the pattern. It looks just a little bit like a clown costume.
