As soon as I was invited to a wedding this fall, I knew I wanted to make a dress for it. It turns out that I didn’t actually wear this dress to the wedding, but to the rehearsal dinner instead.
I haven’t wanted to take these pants off since I made them two weeks ago, and I’m wearing them as I type up this post. They are the True Bias Hudson Pants made up in a grey scuba fabric from Joann’s.
I reorganized my stash the other day, and realized that I had a decent chunk of this navy polka dot knit fabric leftover from making a dress in the fall. I wanted to make something, but not go fabric shopping (shocking, I know), so next I searched through my patterns. Ultimately, I decided to make a polka-dotted peplum top with McCall’s 6896.
Do these fabrics look familiar? That’s because they are all leftover from a pair of running tights I made this winter. I didn’t have enough leftovers to make another pair of tights, so I decided to make a matching sports bra instead. I am guilty of wearing them at the same time… though with a shirt on top!
