I knit a sweater, ya’ll! Over the summer, my (future) sister-in-law and I agreed to knit our first sweaters at the same time. Becky has been knitting much longer than I have, and she’s the one who originally taught me how to knit, so I felt honored to be able to help her push her knitting boundaries a little bit.
I have officially fallen behind in blogging. I’ve now made everything that I planned to make for the fall, but have only managed to blog the cardigan. It’s not because I haven’t made some good stuff, though. This jacket is the pièce de résistance of my fall sewing collection. It may also be my all-time favorite make.
I’ve wanted black jeans for a long time. When I studied abroad back in, oh 2010, my friend had a great pair of grey jeans that she wore constantly. I thought they were so cool, but I’ve never had a pair of anything other than classic blue myself. Eight years later, I decided to take things into my own hands and make myself a black pair.
This shirt fills a major hole in my wardrobe: the classic white button down. I’ve made it with the Sewaholic Granville pattern, one of my favorite tried-n-trues.
