I don’t know what has gotten into me, but I have been on a roll at using up my stash lately. Most of those projects (including Rare Bears, dog bandanas, braided bowls, and underwear) haven’t made it onto the blog, but I wanted to share this one with you. Here are two Sewaholic Dunbar sports bras, made almost entirely with fabrics and notions left over from other projects.
My second goal for Me Made May was to get back into bra making. To jumpstart this endeavor, I bought myself a bunch of kits from Tailor Made and the Cloth Habit Harriet Bra. Here is the first of many bras to come.
Confession time. I’ve only ever owned one strapless bra. I’ve had the same single strapless bra for an embarrassingly long time. Even more embarrassingly, I didn’t buy it. I “borrowed” it from my mom and never gave it back. I’m happy to say that I now have a new, much prettier, much better fitting strapless bra! Continue reading
I sewed up my first bra just over two years ago. It was a long-line bralette made with the Watson pattern by Cloth Habit. It still gets occasional wear, but after a two-year hiatus, I was ready to jump back in and try again, this time with a “real bra” complete with underwire.
