I don’t know what has gotten into me, but I have been on a roll at using up my stash lately. Most of those projects (including Rare Bears, dog bandanas, braided bowls, and underwear) haven’t made it onto the blog, but I wanted to share this one with you. Here are two Sewaholic Dunbar sports bras, made almost entirely with fabrics and notions left over from other projects.

Simplicity 8424 Barre Leggings
StandardI made these leggings last year, and am just now getting around to blogging them. I’ve worn them a couple times, but feel pretty meh about them, which is why it’s taken me so long to write this post.
Men’s Sewing: Classic Gym Bag
StandardAt the beginning of the year, I set myself a goal of making Brandon 6 projects throughout 2018. When I asked Brandon what he would like, one of the things he asked for was a small gym bag. He was looking for something just big enough to carry a change of clothes and sneakers.
Ballet-inspired wrap top: Simplicity 8424
StandardI did a little impulse shopping at Joann’s over the Black Friday holiday. On Wednesday, I took advantage of their 5 for $5 sale on Simplicity patterns and picked up this pattern, along with a few others. I then went back on Friday and bought the fabric for this project. This fabric was just 40% off (no better than a regular day at Joann’s), but I bought it anyway. It is a fairly thin poly-spandex blend from their activewear section. It’s nothing special, but I wanted a grey performance material and this fit the bill. Continue reading
